Thorsten Wittmuetz

Founder and Managing Partner, New Times X

I’ve always been inspired by people and companies starting new ventures using disruptive business models and innovative concepts. Studying, working and traveling internationally, I've experienced user behavior on almost every continent of the world. I’m eager to see how different business models work, based on trends, socio-economic circumstances and environments.

My experience and know-how as an advisor is based on my own cases as well as numerous client projects with Skillnet from big corporations to owner-managed small and medium-sized enterprises, whether industry players or financial institutions.

My passion is to support clients in challenging tasks: strategy, business set-up, financing and roll-outs. After finishing my Masters in International Business Administration from the University of Hamburg and Copenhagen Business School at 27, I founded my first tech start-up and sold it to the undisputed multinational market leader five years later.

A serial entrepreneur since then, I know the whole value chain from start to end. Skillnet and I founded New Times X to focus on market innovations and related business opportunities for start-ups and agile corporate ventures alike. I’m eager to meet you and hear your ideas.
