Skillnet, as architect and supervisor, generates new business models and secures the transformation of mature organizations into competitive enterprises. All of this is based on a profound understanding of the appropriate technology.
In the Corporate Finance field, we typically provide due diligences for corporates, venture capital, private equity firms and investment banks. Since 1999, we have conducted more than 350 due diligences. On the capital increase, M&A, IPO, and SPAC side, we have provided support for 15 IPOs and advice for more than 100 transactions with a total volume of approximately USD 6 billion.
Entrepreneurial Cooperation with Founders on the Sell Side
Being entrepreneurs ourselves, our clients profit from our mutual understanding of their objectives right from the start. During the last year, we worked on several small to medium sized transactions between USD 10 million and USD 100 million. A highlight in 2008 was our support of a USD 1 billion sale and the first cross border USA/China transaction in the cable TV arena (China Cablecom completed the USD 55 million acquisition of Hubei Chutian Network Phase I).
Skillnet is an official "Listing Partner Deutsche Börse", "China Listing Partner Deutsche Börse," and has US regulatory authority Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) certified professionals.
International Setup, Local Expertise
Our international teams operate in relevant local markets from locations in New York, Hamburg and Shanghai, as well as partner offices in Los Altos, St. Petersburg, Mumbai, Seoul and Tokyo. Skillnet was founded in Hamburg, the media capital of Germany, Europe’s largest TIMES market.

Experienced Teams on Fixed Budgets or Success Fees
Our consultants possess on average 10 years of professional experience and have been largely "hand picked" from premium consulting firms and market players.
Therefore, we are able to offer our services based on fixed prices or success fees. Skillnet’s only focus is delivering the assignment: at the highest quality, on time, and on budget.
Long Term Relationships Serve as Proof of Concept
Almost all of our clients continue working with us over the years. Skillnet has delivered more than 100 projects each to Bertelsmann, Deutsche Telekom, and 3i (our first clients since founding in the respective areas) and our cooperation with each of these partners still continues
