Successful conclusion of the state visit of Federal President Johannes Rau from September 9th until 17th in China for Skillnet. Bodo Kräter, managing director of Skillnet, was a member of this economic delegation as a representative of the german TIMES enterprises. More than 100 new contacts in particular in the political surrounding, e.g. to State President Hu Jintao, Prime Minister Wen Jiabao, Mr. Han Zheng, lord Maior of Shanghai and the governor of Hong Kong, Mr. Tung Chee Hwait, have been established in personal discussions, 20 potential TIMES projects have been initialized.

Skillnet thanks customers, co-operation partners and friends for the numerous appearance to the "Kirschbluetenfest" and the very impressing fireworks. Naturally also thanks to the "god of the weather", the Japanese Community and the city of Hamburg, which made this celebration possible.

The British 3i group, with approx. 3,500 investments one of the world leading VC companies, signs a contract to cooperate with Skillnet in the TIMES-segments. After 150 successful projects (short reviews of companies and consulting of Portfolio-companies) Skillnet is now going to be the offical partner for commercial and technical due diligence projects.

Skillnet has founded its subsidiary in Shanghai and is immediately locally active with a Chinese/German team. After more than two years of preparation of the relevant coworkers, Skillnet now also offers its approved scope of services in China. Target groups are the over 100 mainly European Skillnet customers, interested TIMES enterprises, which consider a market entry or are already present in China as well as selected Chinese companies, which expand to Europe.
