"BON Approach"
Skillnet’s BON Method
Skillnet provides its clients services and solutions for the planning, implementation, and enhancement of cutting-edge e-business projects, ranging from design to technical implementation and initial operation. Our understanding of e-business is much more than building stand-alone internet platforms. E-business as part of a company’s strategy must take into account key issues such as integration into existing system environments, customer service, fulfillment, debtor management, and internationalization.
Our approach in these projects follows Skillnet’s BON (Business On the Net) method. This method has been developed as a result of our aggregated experience with approximately 100 extensive e-business projects and is targeted at developing the ideal solution for the client as quickly as possible.
Skillnet offers its clients specific services as part of the BON method as well as the complete development and implementation of projects as a prime contractor or in a project management/architectural role.
Based on our BON method, which is founded on a seven-step approach (1. Strategic Concept, 2. Business Activities, 3. Infrastructure, 4. Front-end Design, 5. Content Production, 6. Marketing, 7. Site Management), as well as a detailed and customized project plan, Skillnet guarantees a uniform high standard of efficiency, quality assurance, and risk management during the entire scope of the project.
1. Strategic Concept
The strategic concept serves as a basis for all subsequent procedures in the scope of an e-business project. As part of the tasks, the strategy and concept for an internet/intranet project are specified.
Based on extensive TIMES experience, Skillnet’s goal is to develop a concept which maximizes the client’s corporate value.
Only in rare cases can Skillnet work on a Greenfield approach. Normally, we have to integrate existing structures, technological conditions, and processes into the strategic concept.
The business planning and profitability evaluation incorporate the quantitative validation of the business model. The results of the strategic concept provide binding specifications for the project team in the planning of all subsequent detail deliverables.
