Our subsidiary Easy Capital was the first investor in the company. By May 2016, the company had raised USD 50 million and become the absolute #1 in this area with exclusive rights to about 8000 car parks and an additional one million parking spaces in 12 cities. After the investment, Easy Capital brought very useful resources and further investors, such as the founder of FocusMedia, StarVC, Sequoia Capital. Financing Growth of No. 1 European Online Fabrics E-Commerce Player FabFab

When it was a startup, Fabfab asked us if we’d like to help develop the company with our What’s Next approach. We took a look at the high gross margin, very low rate of product returns and weak significance of comparison shopping in a nearly untapped market and we jumped on the chance to get involved, not just as a Skill for Equity shareholder and strategy co-developer, but also to organize several rounds of financing. Now FabFab operates in 12 European countries. It’s the European market leader for online fabric sales, targeting more than EUR 100 million in revenues for this year.

Investing in Wajiu.com - the Leading B2B Platform for Foreign Wines in China

China’s weather isn’t conducive to wine growing. Most wine is imported. A bottle of wine produced for EUR 1.5 will be sold to retail shops for RMB 150 (EUR 20) or the end consumer for RMB 300 (EUR 40) because there are three or four middlemen along in the value chain. Wajiu is building its own SaaS platform and selling the wine to retail shops directly for just RMB 40. Retail shops can buy wines through Wajiu.com without any middlemen or unnecessary price rises. Easy Capital has invested in the company and is supporting in its future financing. 2016 is developing according to plan and profitable sales of more than USD 100 million are expected by the end of the year.
